Mr BoBo asked: So i am getting ready to equip my 86 fender pbass with some vintage pickups (72’s and out of a 72 pbass ) and i was told by the people that are going to install them for me (professionally done) that i should replace my plastic pots as well.so my question is are the pots from a guitar (tone, volume pickup selector) the same as for a bass? ive been looking around online and cant find the answer. any ideas?

k8_not_kate asked: As a gift to my husband for his birthday, I’d like to find a vintage guitar shop to take him to. He’s trying to find a Strat from the ’60s or ’70s that he can restore. We’re in the Metro Detroit area, but I’d be willing to drive a bit for a really great shop. Any suggestions?

Asuka asked: Local music store guy told me no more tuning keys like I need are available on the market. He wants to drill extra holes in my headstock. I rufused and he thinks I’m a twit.
Also on the front of the headstock, most guitars have a nut holding the machinehead. Mine was round and smooth, not a nut. And the cretain lost it! There is now a gaping hole!!!!!!

Jonny Q asked: I was at a flea market and this guy had some old stuff, had a creme colored strat and a and a vintage 60s era Lea Paul, looked pretty good and he had the original case, he wanted $200 for it. I still have to play it before I consider buying it. I know that vintage guitars (especially strats and Les Pauls) can be pretty valueable. I already have a one year old Squire strat (made by Fender) and I’m happy with it, but I’d like a Les Paul and vintage just makes it cooler (to me). Anyways, assuming it plays well and is in good condition, is it worth the $200? I don’t know the exact model as I’m not an expert on any brand or model, but in general what is a Les Paul from the 60s (playable and in good condition) worth now?

Ken D asked: I have a Teisco May Queen guitar. Couple scratches but otherwise I’d list it in GOOD CONDITION.
Does anybody know how much I could re-sell it for?
