I work at a music store, and recently a lady came in to ask me to fix up her guitar. It was a 1955 Esquire. Does anyone know how much this vintage guitar is worth?

Well that is a fine guitar…I use to own 1 myself before Uncle Roland came over that summer and hanged my Grandpa and shot my dog with a shotgun (in the rear end to be exact) Well it was great chatting with you but i gotta go back to work. Call me up sometime. Heres my number: 602-465-4015 just ask 4 Lupita…

Well I can tell you that a 1954 Fender Champion Lap Steel Telecaster Esquire is work $1195.00, but a 1966 Fender Esquire Original Vintage goes for $12,750.00.

do not fix the guitar. don’t do anything to it. it is worth at least $20,000 depending on condition, etc. tell the lady to get it appraised at a custom guitar shop. appraisals usually cost ~$50. if you fix it you will reduce the value of the guitar greatly.
