Since you apparently like Zakk, I’d assume your taste in music is along BLS style, so I would say the Epiphone, I’ve played it and its next on my list. I have a Gibson lp special which is very close to the vintage mahogany. It’s actually a win win deal, they’re both great, just depends on what sound you want, it its metal go with the ZW because of the pickups.
Keep jamming man! SDMF!!

Hi Brian
First of all, Zak can play anything. It just goes to show you that his Epiphone sounds like a $2000 guitar.
Personally, the Les Paul vintage has a much fatter sound, more tone than the Epiphone.
If Zak would play that vintage, you would hear a difference in tone. Secondly, the re-sale value of a Les Paul surpasses any Epiphone by far and gains value as the years go by.
If you want an investment, buy the Les Paul Vintage without hesitation.
