VOX ADseries Valvetronics. It is a hybrid. Good amp emulation and they use Celestions. OR pick up a Crate V series if you use your own effects.

I owned two Super Reberbs back around 76' and a Twin and duo showman.. Loved those amps.. How about one of the Fender Blues amps.. Not sure what they run these days.. under 400? Stick with what you like... I bought a Line 6 for my son, I've had every amp under the sun and still prefer the Fenders.. Twin is probably my fav. I'll have to read your post for other responses.. Good luck..

You might try looking for an old Traynor YRM-1SC Reverb Master or other Traynor.

Which can be had for around $200 if you can find one.

If you want true tube Fender sound, sadly you're going to pay for it. You might look at some modeling amps. They are generally cheaper and it might get you closer to the sound you are looking for. Fender has some cheaper amps and some may included some (modeled) fender tones. I own a Cyber Twin and love it but its pricey. It has a tube pre amp.

The Blues Deluxe is a great sounding all tube amp with that Fender sound. You won't touch any Mesa amps for cheap.
