Do I own a vintage fender?

Taylor M asked:
My mother bought a solid dark red electric guitar back in 1981. The person she bought it from had completely refurbished it so there was no name or trade mark on it. He told her than that it was 20 yrs old. So the guitar today would be roughly 47 yrs old. I have been told it looks like an old fender. How would i find out?

Fenders have a distinct body shape. Take it to a guitar shop. NOT GUITAR CENTER!!!

ha! kudos, Jack M!
If you wanna know about particular models, ask an expert…they have a good eye at distinguishing make and model properties of vintage guitars from all across the globe.
