How to put on strap locks for this guitar?

i believe i have to take out the nut that is already there for the strap and replace it with this *****?
im not sure though. please help.

If you are not sure of the process, then allow the techs at GC to do it. If you are buying it online, then any local guitar tech will be able to do it for you.
If there is no other option, then you are required to replace the one that comes stock with the ones you are purchasing.

Easy.
1) Unscrew the existing strap buttons and replace them with the straplocks. Be careful when tightening the screws to avoid stripping out the holes.
2) Put the locks onto the strap… take the nut and one washer off the U shaped piece, slip the threaded area through the end of the strap (where the guitar gets attached), then reassemble and snug the nut up. Make sure that the open end of the lock faces towards the center of the strap.
I would personally NEVER let the Guitar Center techs touch one of my guitars… ever.
