Oh, and in response to that first answer, the serial number is extremely faded. it was when they used to press the number into the actual wood.

I bet you could find an e-mail address from Gibson’s website then mail them with your serial number to find out the exact date of your guitar.

If you like yahoo!answers, there is another site similar to it that pays you a little to post. It isn’t going to pay your rent, but you can make about $30 a month on it if you post and respond for an hour or two each day. It’s fun, like yahoo!answers, and there are lots of forums.
