Vintage ones are worth much much more than the same model/style being reproduced now.

I have a Candy Apple red 63 Strat that I bought in 1988 for $300. It is all original and the cat from Pete’s Guitar in MN appraised about 15 years ago for $4,500. I’m not sure if Pete is still in business, but you can search “Pete’s Guitar” University Ave, MN. if Pete is still there, he can help. A lot of 80s hair bands bought and had guitars modified and repaired by him. So, he would know. Good Luck
