can i buy a single gibson vintage nickel pearloid tuning machine and where?

As far as I know, Stewart-MacDonald (www.stewmac.com) only sells sets. You might want to try a large guitar store’s repair department to see if they happen to have one lying around. If not they may be able to point you in the right direction. Also, it’s possible that Gibson will sell you one.
