sirgerry asked: Hi
I had my Vintage RI Strat neck refinished and lost the logo in the process. My luthier has one but It seems kind of small to my eye, and I think it may not be original. Can someone help me by measuring their Spaghetti logo from the F to the last r so I can check it up with the one I’m being offered?
Thanks!

mattiebouge asked: I have a ’76? Ovation acoustic guitar, great condish, I’d just like to see how much it could be worth
a little more about the guitar, I’m not positive on the year, it’s close to 76, and the tricky thing is I can’t find anything on it.
If you were a collector, how much would you pay for it?

SunOfAJava asked: Hi
Can anyone tell me if a vintage fender strat pickups (1970) are any good ?
Are these special in anyway or are they just expensive because they come from an old fender ?
Are modern pickups better ?
If ‘no’ then why the with all the technology cant we make better pickups in this day an age in China than in the US 30 years ago ?
Thanks !

ivegotquestions asked: Im looking for a good vintage guitars forum. I have an old 1960s Gibson SG that I need to find out the exact year. I need a good knowledgable forum where people can help me out. Thanks
Oh, and in response to that first answer, the serial number is extremely faded. it was when they used to press the number into the actual wood.

DT asked: Any musicians/guitar players who can give me some help deciding on what guitar to buy my hubby for Xmas??? He is in a band and I would like to add to his guitar collection. I am not looking to spend more that $1300/1400 max! I was looking at the Gibson Les Paul Vintage Electric which is on sale for $800 or a John Mayer Signature Stratocaster. Any help, advice, and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Toto Lotito asked: I´ve seen all of the offered telecasters at www.fender.com. I´m looking for a good guitar, one that I´ll mostly use as a rythm guitar, cause i am not fond of great guitar solos. I´ve also tried Stratocasters but I am looking for a cleaner, more bolder sound, for rock, pop and folk music. What I´d like to have is an answer on quality vs. cost basis. For example: is there really that much difference between Custom an Vintage or Deluxe Series?
