Tad R asked:

I was just wondering what this amp would be worth if i were to sell it. Everything on it is completely vintage except for one of the 7 tubes in the back. Yes, that is right, it is a vintage Fender tube amp with the original tubes, and i believe it is a ’62 or ’63. It sounds amazing. Buy, yeah. I was just wondering if anyone had any idea what it would be worth. So, thanks for your help!

It is a 1978 Les Paul Standard. My father is the original owner and he barely touches it, so it is mint condition. Thanks!

Wendell C asked:

I love Fender Jazzmaster guitars, but I only own newer reissues. There is a store near me that has several vintage jazzmasters from the 50s, 60s, and 70s. What should I look for when testing/examining the guitars to ensure that I don’t get ripped off/buy a bad guitar.

Is it okay to remove the pick guard from a vintage guitar?

August Paul Jacobson asked:

I have an old Harmony Stratotone (I believe) that is about 50 years old.
The serial of the guitar is under the pick guard I believe and I want to see it to verify the year and model. The screws and everything are original and old. I don’t want to cause harm to the guitar though. Is it safe to unscrew the pick guard? with the really old screws without harming the guitar?

Adam asked:

At band camp at my local music school, my Gibson SG Standard was sitting on a guitar stand. One person knocked the stand over. My A string tuner hit the hard floor and it was broken. The rod was bent and two of the pins were snapped. I don’t to buy a whole set because they run for around 60$. Does anybody know where i can buy a single one? They are the chrome ones with the pearloid knob, and they say “Gibson Deluxe” on the back. They are the ones found here:
