Shana Wagner asked:

I recently came upon this beautiful vintage guitar. I got it from a friend who told me it was a Teisco from the 60s, but it doesn’t say anything on the guitar.

Anything you can tell me about this guitar would be great! Thanks!

Andrea N asked:

I have this old 1970′s guitar, it use to be my mom’s when she was nine, but it has some parts missing, (besides the fact that it NEEDS NEW STRINGS). One of the machine head is missing, and the bridge needs to be replaced. how much do you think it would cost?
This guitar btw isn’t for a nine year old. Its just a regular 1970′s guitar

August Paul Jacobson asked:

I have an old Harmony Stratotone (I believe) that is about 50 years old.
The serial of the guitar is under the pick guard I believe and I want to see it to verify the year and model. The screws and everything are original and old. I don’t want to cause harm to the guitar though. Is it safe to unscrew the pick guard? with the really old screws without harming the guitar?
I have a H45 Stratotone I believe.

Anyways I would like to know which Vintage Gibson humbucker would work for my tele (because of the amount of wires and stuff) Because I would like to by one for the neck position. It would be awsome if you could help me out.

What is the differecne between these guitars?

Graham A asked:

I’m looking to buy, and honestly I can’t tell what’s special about the Fender Stratocaster, and the Fender AMERICAN Stratocaster. Besides the American being 400 more… also:

A Gibson SG and a Gibson Vintage SG

Stratocaster and an older model of one (like a 50s reissue)

I know people think Gibson is better than Epiphone, but is the difference really big enough to spend 2,000 dollars on?

egw asked:

I know the vintage 50′s & 60′s models are excellent and coveted. But I had heard that the 70′s & early 80′s ones are substandard. And that they got better in the 90′s, etc. How do the current ones compare?

East Coast Assassin asked:

I am almost positive it is this guitar

http://www.guitarcenter.com/Fender-American-Vintage–62-Stratocaster-Electric-Guitar-510049-i1146252.gc

I saw it at guitar center, and it was $440 – only because it was the last one they had and they had not sold it yet. it was a 60s stratocaster. how good is this guitar? thanks
also the price is sooooooo low. IT WAS NOT USED EITHER.

why?
THIS WAS THE GUITAR!!!!

http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Fender-Classic-Player-60s-Stratocaster?sku=512767

so that’s $360 off, is it good?
is was the sunburst red/brown color NOT the light blue
