I have a ’79 Les Paul, and one of the buttons on the machine heads has come loose. I would like to replace the whole set, but I’m having trouble finding a replacement that is vintage nickel with nickel buttons. It seems like all they make now are pearloid. Does anyone know where I can find these? I live in Tampa, but I’m guessing I’m going to have to find this online somewhere. i believe i have to take out the nut that is already there for the strap and replace it with this *****?
