I was on ebay one day, and I found this vintage cardboard Halloween cut out I wanted. I didn’t watch it or anything, and when I went to go back and look for it to buy it, I never was able to find it again. I’m here in hopes that someone on Yahoo answers shares the same passion in vintage Halloween die cuts as I do and will know where to find this de cut or have at least seen it. I would say that this die-cut was from the 40′s, and it was of a boy dressed as a bum/hobo carrying a stick trick or treating. Have you seen this die cut? I’m guessing it was made by the beistle company, but it could have been made by Gibson; I’m not sure. Please please please someone get back to me and let me know if you seen this die-cut. Thank’s.

i play rock and metal no jazz or country
I don’t refuse to play jazz or country, I just started playing a week ago and right now i’m just learning simple riffs and songs. Rock and metal are just my prefered genre to play right now. I just wanted the strings that matched the best with what genre I play the most of.

Got it second hand for just under £1000 on ebay, honest sounding seller. play tested it, it sounds awesome, has the classic vintage tuners, they have gibson deluxe on them, the headstock has ‘made in usa’ with an 8 digit code stamped on the back. the tone and volume knobs are alligned straight not diagonal, the truss rod cover has 2 screws not 3 and there is a nut underneath it.

TBH there is nothing that indicates this is a fake guitar but i just get paranoid, here is a link to the pics

I have had a variety of appraisals on this original guitar I have owned for 49 years. I have the original tweed amp (Champ) and the original case. It is valuable, I know that. But, I can’t seem to find a venue to sell this on. When I go to online stores, they are all selling new “vintage” guitars for a couple thousand dollars. This, I have been told, is worth far more than that. Anyone have ideas OTHER than Ebay? Thanks.

I have a mandolin that is a Gibson style A Mandolin. I’m not really good at telling instrument remakes apart from a vintage one. It does look really old but it has some much newer dates inside. One date is in 1998 and another is in march of 2006. I dont know it that just has to do with a patent or with the real age of the mandolin.. I do have pictures of it. And I’ve seen a few on e-bay that look identical. But I dont want to put mine for sale on ebay saying its a 1917 Gibson A Mandolin. If its not.. I know the question may sound stupid to some. But I dont know the first thing about mandolins.. Or if it even being a Gibson is a big deal or not.
Also the mandolin, although the neck is a little worn looking, it is in very good shape. It has not chops or cracks in it anywhere. It does have some really worn strings on it and its even missing one sting, but I have extra ones for it. And it has a really old case, the case itself is lined with a soft purple material.

I am checking out these guitars on Ebay in perfect condition with the price reduced from around $350 to $160. I have heard mixed reviews on both the Gibson and Epiphone model of these guitars, but like the sound of them. I was wondering how good the pickups are, if they go out of tune easily, the overall quality of these guitars, ect. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
