I was on ebay one day, and I found this vintage cardboard Halloween cut out I wanted. I didn’t watch it or anything, and when I went to go back and look for it to buy it, I never was able to find it again. I would say that this die-cut was from the 40′s, and it was of a boy dressed as a bum/hobo carrying a stick trick or treating. Have you seen this die cut? I’m guessing it was made by the beistle company, but it could have been made by Gibson; I’m not sure. Please please please someone get back to me and let me know if you seen this die-cut. Thank’s.

i play rock and metal no jazz or country
I don’t refuse to play jazz or country, I just started playing a week ago and right now i’m just learning simple riffs and songs. Rock and metal are just my prefered genre to play right now. I just wanted the strings that matched the best with what genre I play the most of.

Got it second hand for just under £1000 on ebay, honest sounding seller. play tested it, it sounds awesome, has the classic vintage tuners, they have gibson deluxe on them, the headstock has ‘made in usa’ with an 8 digit code stamped on the back. the tone and volume knobs are alligned straight not diagonal, the truss rod cover has 2 screws not 3 and there is a nut underneath it.

TBH there is nothing that indicates this is a fake guitar but i just get paranoid, here is a link to the pics

I do have pictures of it. And I’ve seen a few on e-bay that look identical. But I dont want to put mine for sale on ebay saying its a 1917 Gibson A Mandolin. If its not.. I know the question may sound stupid to some. But I dont know the first thing about mandolins.. Or if it even being a Gibson is a big deal or not.
Also the mandolin, although the neck is a little worn looking, it is in very good shape. It has not chops or cracks in it anywhere. It does have some really worn strings on it and its even missing one sting, but I have extra ones for it. And it has a really old case, the case itself is lined with a soft purple material.
