How much is my guitar worth?

I have a Gibson Classical Acoustic guitar that my mom got in ’74 I believe, & I was just wondering how much it’s worth. I don’t know the exact model, & all I can tell you is that it’s in bad condition; there’s a huge ***** in the front, scratches all over, but it still plays (& sounds like crap). I took it up to guitar center to see if they could fix it up at all, & they gave me an estimate for how much it’s worth (or at least how much they’d pay for it) & it shocked me, but I’m just looking for a 2nd opinion. Oh, & by the way, all you vintage guitar collectors shouldn’t get your hopes up–it’s not for sale. This is just pure curiosity. And after I get a few answers, I’ll tell you how much guitar center said it was worth.

Is a vintage 60s Les Paul worth $200?

I was at a flea market and this guy had some old stuff, had a creme colored strat and a and a vintage 60s era Lea Paul, looked pretty good and he had the original case, he wanted $200 for it. I still have to play it before I consider buying it. I know that vintage guitars (especially strats and Les Pauls) can be pretty valueable. I already have a one year old Squire strat (made by Fender) and I’m happy with it, but I’d like a Les Paul and vintage just makes it cooler (to me). Anyways, assuming it plays well and is in good condition, is it worth the $200? I don’t know the exact model as I’m not an expert on any brand or model, but in general what is a Les Paul from the 60s (playable and in good condition) worth now?
