I just installed Fender Vintage Noiseless Pickups in my Stratocaster. I replaced the tone and volume pots and put in the capacitor in just as the blueprints said. My middle and neck pickups sound nice, bright, and loud whereas my bridge pickup sounds very faint and has very little sustain compared to the others, it’s as if I had the volume turned down on my guitar’s settings, that’s the best that I can describe it. I even tried turning the volume down in order to see if it might turn up but it stayed a basically the same volume. Please help!

hey i recently came into a fender classic 50s reissue mim and it came with fender scn noiseless pickups. now i also have a set of van zandt true vintage pickups that i have laying around. i was wondering what would give me a better overall tone and more close to a david gilmour tone. the van zandt a over double to price and they do sound pretty decent from what i remember but they have much less output, VZ -6, 5.8,5.8 kohms(NMB) and the Fender -6.5,6.5.11.6 kohms (NMB)

Are these special in anyway or are they just expensive because they come from an old fender ?

Are modern pickups better ?
If ‘no’ then why the with all the technology cant we make better pickups in this day an age in China than in the US 30 years ago ?
