i want the ones with the best tone and feel
i play rock and metal no jazz or country
I don’t refuse to play jazz or country, I just started playing a week ago and right now i’m just learning simple riffs and songs. Rock and metal are just my prefered genre to play right now. I just wanted the strings that matched the best with what genre I play the most of.

wetwillie1800 asked: I am ready to upgrade to a Les Paul model, after spending several years with an SG (Gibson). I’ve done a lot of searching, and the two I’ve narrowed it down to are: The Classic and the Classic Antique (Vintage Sunburst for either). I want to get a very Slash-Like tone, so I’m going to get some Seymour Duncans to put on it. Which whould give me the better tone? Thanks!
Thanks, but I’m selling my SG and buying with that and any other dough I can gather up. $3,400 is WAY too much.

warwick2155 asked: Got it second hand for just under £1000 on ebay, honest sounding seller. play tested it, it sounds awesome, has the classic vintage tuners, they have gibson deluxe on them, the headstock has ‘made in usa’ with an 8 digit code stamped on the back. the tone and volume knobs are alligned straight not diagonal, the truss rod cover has 2 screws not 3 and there is a nut underneath it.
TBH there is nothing that indicates this is a fake guitar but i just get paranoid, here is a link to the pics

LP asked: I could buy a Gibson Les Paul Custom from the early 70′s,or I could get a new one.I was wondering if there was anyone out there who had experience with vintage guitars and their reliability(neck problems and the such). The guitar has to be tough enough to withstand everyday use and road use. Thanks

checkoutmyskillzyo@rocketmail.co asked: I was looking for a Gibson Les Paul and saw that there were many different kinds. There is the studio version, vintage mahogany, studio FADED, custom, aged. I’m am just confused! I was thinking of getting a studio because it’s one of the cheapest but I was wondering how that compares in tone, quality, sustain, etc. to all the other Les Pauls. Can anyone explain what each Les Paul is like?
Also, I have a Gibson SG faded. I was wondering what the difference between that and the standard is because there is such a huge price differential. It can just be the finish.
