casey asked: the only equipment i have at the moment is a fender bullet 150 and it has some distortion effects but they make the overall sound pretty low quality. i’m using a vintage gibson sg with some modifications so what are some of the best distortion pedals that would sound great with my guitar? i’ve heard Digitech WH-1 Whammy and Pro-co cat were good but really im not very good with technical stuff so any opinions?

checkoutmyskillzyo@rocketmail.co asked: I was looking for a Gibson Les Paul and saw that there were many different kinds. There is the studio version, vintage mahogany, studio FADED, custom, aged. I’m am just confused! I was thinking of getting a studio because it’s one of the cheapest but I was wondering how that compares in tone, quality, sustain, etc. to all the other Les Pauls. Can anyone explain what each Les Paul is like?
Also, I have a Gibson SG faded. I was wondering what the difference between that and the standard is because there is such a huge price differential. It can just be the finish.

ARTIST asked: I already own a danelectro 59 dc, but am looking to upgrade to something more sophisticated.
I want to invest in a vintage Gibson SG, and am looking on the internet and in various music stores and pawn shops in the area where i live.
Does anyone know of any site that specializes in these types of guitars? I probably won’t buy online, but I still want to see all of my options. Here’s a picture of a 1964 model:

Graham A asked: I’m looking to buy, and honestly I can’t tell what’s special about the Fender Stratocaster, and the Fender AMERICAN Stratocaster. Besides the American being 400 more… also:
A Gibson SG and a Gibson Vintage SG
Stratocaster and an older model of one (like a 50s reissue)
I know people think Gibson is better than Epiphone, but is the difference really big enough to spend 2,000 dollars on?
