I purchased a used Super Reverb around 1971. I owned various other amps for different gigs but the Super was my pride and joy. the Super was stolen around 1986. I dont play much but would like to purchase a guitar amp around 50W-100W with a real good 12″ speaker. I DONT want to spend much. I know there are all kinds of knock-offs of Vintage Fender, Mesa Boogie, etc. Be it new or ebay I want something HOT but cheap…. any legit recommendations?

emerica90 asked: here is my problem.. im starting to get really good at guitar. im into all the techniques and have mastered them.. that includes finger tapping very quickly, hammering, pulling off, etc. the only problem is that my amp and guitar **** and i have no money. for example..when i finger tap on my guitar it is not clear at all and it sounds really bad compared to when i do it on my friends ibanez. im trying to get a heavy sound but all i have on my amp is a “boost” effect which is not really much of a distortion. im guessing its my guitar though also.. pickups are pretty bad and everything. i have an epiphone les paul special II and a Studio 10S epiphone practice amp….should i just get a new guitar/amp or a distortion pedal or what? any suggestions on an amp. i might get a Gibson Vintage guitar or maybe an Epiphone Prophecy with EMG pickups =] what do you guys think?
