i want the ones with the best tone and feel
i play rock and metal no jazz or country
I don’t refuse to play jazz or country, I just started playing a week ago and right now i’m just learning simple riffs and songs. Rock and metal are just my prefered genre to play right now. I just wanted the strings that matched the best with what genre I play the most of.

How much money can I get for vintage Gibson humbuckers?

alex m asked:

I just traded my guitar teacher a Burstbucker for a pair of old Gibson humbuckers that he thought were ’73 stock but actually turned out to be an original ’58 PAF humbucker and a 1959-1962 PAT NO. 2,737, 842. I’m not sure they’re actually the models I think they are but all evidence points to it. The one that I’m sure is a ’58 PAF has the original “Patent Applied For” sticker on the back. The sticker is very old and brittle and could flake off at any moment. The other humucker has the patent number stamped in the back and wikipedia states that it is a pre-1962 humbucker. I’m not sure if I should sell or keep them. Does anybody know how much I could get for them?

Guitar help, vintage guitar, whats it worth?

It is a may ? 1967 Fender Musicmaster as labled on the neck plate (cant remember the day off the top of my head). The body has been repainted many times and gutted for a humbucker but all before it was mine. I re-finished it again, (not the best job but its alright), put a dimarzio vintage 57 in the neck and a dimarzio fast track 2 in the bridge, and a new tortoise shell pickguard and wiring system. So that being said about the body the neck has not been altered at all, the tuning heads have been painted but nothing else. So to conclude the bridge, control plate, neck plate and neck are the only untouched things. What is this worth!?
