yourxdistraction asked: Black with a white pickguard, three pickups, five-way pickup adjuster, whammy bar. It’s an 80′s vintage Jap-made guitar, which someone told me could probably fetch a thousand dollars. Is that accurate, or not? What could I sell it for?

ryan asked:
It is a may ? 1967 Fender Musicmaster as labled on the neck plate (cant remember the day off the top of my head). The body has been repainted many times and gutted for a humbucker but all before it was mine. I re-finished it again, (not the best job but its alright), put a dimarzio vintage 57 in the neck and a dimarzio fast track 2 in the bridge, and a new tortoise shell pickguard and wiring system. So that being said about the body the neck has not been altered at all, the tuning heads have been painted but nothing else. So to conclude the bridge, control plate, neck plate and neck are the only untouched things. What is this worth!?

J asked: So here’s the deal. I have a decent Fender Stratocaster that I love. However, sitting away in storage for years, I have a Squier Stratocaster that my mother bought my shortly before she passed away. It is approx. 1998 year. It is of sentimental value, and I know squier is fender’s cheap beginners brand. But I just bought a vintage 1950s fender strat neck for it, and plan to put in a new loaded pickguard with lace sensor pickups in it. I know this may seem silly but this guitar is special to my just because it’s from my beloved mother. I want to make it all that it can be. So assuming I put in good pickups and with the 50′s genuine fender neck, what else do I need to upgrade to make it a true fender and not a squier? Thanks!!!

clockwork_mike asked: Please, does ANYBODY know where one of these could be found. I don’t care if it’s used or whatever, because I have searched for years now for one to no avail. I wanted one when they first came out but I didn’t have enough money back then, but now I do. I will pay anything reasonable for one.
The guitar is a black Fender Strat, with a Seymour Duncan JB Jr. in the bridge, a Vintage Rail in the middle, and a Hot Rail in the neck I believe, and it comes with a Floyd Rose Original Tremolo, Mirrored Pickguard and Iron Maiden’s mascot Eddie , logoed on the headstock , PLEASE if any of you can , help me find one of these, it’s been my holy grail, the one I cannot find

William B asked: I’m about to spend around 500 bucks or so on a guitar and have decided on a Telecaster — but which one?
I play rhythm guitar in a group that plays a little bit of everything – classic rock, alternative, even a little country.
I have a shot at getting an ’06 MIK Lite Ash with the following description: Has all new vintage American Parts and Electronics with exception of bridge plate/saddles. 250K CTS pots and 4-Way Fender switching, (Bridge, Neck/Bridge series, Neck, Neck/Bridge Parallel). Custom Made Translucent Pearl Pickguard by Pickguardian. Nek Pup is Rickenbacker style Filertron, bridge is 60′s Alnico Hot 9.4K Repro. Killer Sound. Has Fender Vintage Tuners and Round vintage Trees. Comes with kit bag.
Or … I could go for a new Nashville Tele … because I like all the tone possibilities that open up with that extra pickup. I’ve read that if you have to go up on stage with only one guitar, this is the one.
Thoughts? Which way would you go?
