Fendbsonez asked: I just installed Fender Vintage Noiseless Pickups in my Stratocaster. I replaced the tone and volume pots and put in the capacitor in just as the blueprints said. My middle and neck pickups sound nice, bright, and loud whereas my bridge pickup sounds very faint and has very little sustain compared to the others, it’s as if I had the volume turned down on my guitar’s settings, that’s the best that I can describe it. I even tried turning the volume down in order to see if it might turn up but it stayed a basically the same volume. Please help!

aaricisdead asked: I am guitar shopping but know little about fender other than I usually like vintage fender guitars. I know they have some NICE guitars but I know they have some TERRIBLE guitars too. I found a strat on Craigslist for 275 that I am going to try out but wanted others opinions on it. It was made in Mexico. A link to a pic is below. What do you think of the sound and quality of this guitar? I hope it’s good! I will be disappointed if it feels/sounds like a Fender Squire.

Undead asked: there’s a Les Paul I want that sounds awesome but it’s used, I didn’t buy it then and there because I knew I wasn’t going to give a proper assessment , especially being so excited for it..
It’s a 1979 Gibson Les Paul Custom, sounds fine and everything seems to be seated right.. anything I should look for ? or that i should ask the sales guy?

consulhammer asked: character not in how the thing looks, but type of sound. ex. an old guitar may not have a tone as good a new but has that vintage character. or a taylor sounds bright, n a gibson sounds mellow, but both have good tone…
